Dragon fruit was originally known as pitaya. This night-flowering cactus plant is also known as strawberry pear, skogkaktus, pa-ni-ni, catobarse, long gou, Moonflower, Queen of the night, and the Lady of the Night.
There are many health benefits of the dragon fruit. It is rich in fibers, vitamin C, potassium, calcium and especially phytoalbumins, which are highly valued for their antioxidant properties.
